Brief. Build a career website for the young, the old, the in-betweener and make sure that no-one gets bored.

When approached by The Hiser Group to be the senior creative partner on the rebrand of Education Australia's myFuture careers website, the brief was quite intriguing.

Originally created as an online resource tool to assist people looking for a career change, the old myFuture website was cumbersome to navigate and deemed unappealing by several core user groups.

It was imperative that the new brand and website design appealed to a complex range of ages, ethnicities, language and social capabilities ranging from primary school students to mid-life career changers, and career counsellors whilst adhering to strict Australian Government WCAG usability guidelines.

From the refresh of the logo design and bespoke storyscape illustration to the iconography, website digital interface and styleguide — we were determined to break the mold of typical mundane government websites whilst still playing by the rules.

Since relaunching, myFuture has experienced an increase in website traffic, retention time and has been a hit with audiences across the board.

Work completed.
